Since the turn of the year I’ve been trying to cut back on my spending and stick to a monthly beauty budget. So as a result I’ve been getting through products that I’ve had on the go for ages. Here’s what I’ve been using…
Rituals gift set with organic rice milk and cherry blossom: As well as walking daily I also visit the gym three times a week so I always like to have some nice products to use after my workout. I bought this little set in the January sales for £11.50 instead of £17.90 and I have loved using it. This set was very creamy, very hydrating and smelt absolutely gorgeous. The only downside is that they are quite pricey so I will wait until they have their next sale to stock up.
Soap and Glory Shower Butter: I was intrigued to try this shower butter as this is something I’d never seen before. The texture of this was quite thick so a little went a long way and my skin felt lovely and soft when I used it. As always with S&G products the smell was to die for. I haven’t used S&G products in quite a while so I’d forgotten how good they were. I would definitely buy this again at some point in the future.
Dove Body Wash: I had a couple of these Dove body washes as backups so I’ve been busy using them after I’ve been to the gym. For the money you can’t go wrong with Dove as it provides a nice lather and they always smell divine. I always come back to Dove so no doubt I will buy some more in the future.
I won’t go into too much detail about the next couple of products as I have raved about them in the past. All I’ll say is this dry skin balm from Pure Lakes is one of the best moisturisers I’ve ever used as it really calms down my legs, which can get very dry and itchy. I’ve only come across one other product that works as well this, but it’s more expensive and you get less product. At just under £14 for 185g it is a bargain and I will definitely be buying it again.
I’m also still a big fan of these bath oils from Aromatherapy Associates and this De-Stress Mind one is one of my favourites. I don’t know how or why but they just work!
The Macadamia Natural Oil range is still my go to hair brand and I can’t get enough of the Deep Repair Masque. It really is amazing stuff and leaves my hair feeling super soft and nourished.
I hope you realise what’s coming next… empty products obviously means one thing. I think it could be time for a beauty haul!
