It’s amazing how fast time flies. Today is my third wedding anniversary and over the last few days I’ve been looking through some of our wedding and honeymoon photos to remember our special day.
We got married at the Mount Nelson hotel in Cape Town, which is one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and later flew to George Town to spend a few days on Safari. The latter part of our honeymoon saw us return to Cape Town where we stopped at the Four Rosmead, which deserves every one of its amazing reviews.
We managed to pack in as much as possible in our time in South Africa, and after the wedding the highlights included:
- Going on safari
- Shark diving
- Table Mountain, (I was proud of myself as I’m scared of the sea and heights)
- Cape Point
- Kirstenbosch Gardens
- V&A Waterfront
On a final point, the food in Cape Town is absolutely fantastic, especially the seafood, and it wasn’t too expensive when we visited. We hope to return to Cape Town one day but for now at least we have some wonderful memories and pictures.
